Igho “Tiny” Ubiribo, a Nigerian influencer and close associate of Davido, passed away on 6 March following treatments at a Bangkok cosmetic clinic. His death has prompted an investigation into the clinic’s practices and Ubiribo’s treatment history.

Igho Ubiribo’s Treatment Details Uncovered
A Bangkok cosmetic clinic reported to Thai health investigators that Ubiribo had undergone five penile enlargement procedures between 2024 and 2026. He suffered severe complications after receiving hyaluronic acid injections on 5 March, which led to his collapse and death shortly thereafter.
Hospital staff attempted to resuscitate Ubiribo for 101 minutes before he was declared dead at 1:05 am. An inquest hearing linked his death to the injection and a pulmonary embolism, noting he lost consciousness before a CT scan could be completed.
On 7 September, Thailand’s Health Minister announced an investigation into the clinic to determine if it adhered to medical standards. The clinic stated that Ubiribo had been a patient since 2024 and disclosed details about his procedures to health authorities.
The clinic confirmed that it recommended Ubiribo split his final treatment into two sessions, but he opted for everything to be done during one appointment. The facility also highlighted that he signed a consent form and received aftercare guidance.
The investigation into the clinic’s practices continues as authorities review the records and evidence surrounding Ubiribo’s treatment.
