Accolades continue to trail the music and energetic performances of Nigerian Afrobeat, Afropop and Dancehall recording and performing artiste Efe Kelly Mark, popularly known as Kay Da Ace, as his latest extended play (EP), 7 ELEMENTS, gains attention among music lovers on social media and beyond.
The release marks another milestone in the singer’s musical journey, showcasing his versatility and creative expression across a collection of seven tracks. Released under his record label, Ace Familia Studios, the project is now available on major digital music platforms worldwide.
Speaking about the inspiration behind the project, Kay Da Ace described 7 ELEMENTS as a body of work driven by energy, authenticity and personal expression.
“7 ELEMENTS is pure energy for the Afrobeat and Afrofusion scene. From the energy of ‘Saints & Sinners’ to the rhythm of ‘Wahala Na Ladder’, followed by the melody of ‘Joor’, this project reflects who I am as an artiste. I’m not chasing trends; I’m making candid music straight from my soul to your speakers,” the singer and entrepreneur said.
According to him, the project explores themes of hustle, hope, blessings, motivation, lifestyle, love, enjoyment and the pursuit of prosperity, offering listeners a blend of relatable experiences, infectious rhythms and expressive melodies.
The seven-track EP comprises ‘Saints and Sinners’, ‘Wahala Na Ladder’, ‘Joor’, ‘Rain (Money)’, ‘Toxic’, ‘Bebe’ and ‘Manya Body’. Together, the songs present different dimensions of the artiste’s sound, reflecting his engagement with contemporary African popular music and his desire to connect with listeners through both rhythm and message.
The project was recorded at Ace Familia Studios by Kay Da Ace, with production handled by Top Age. And artiste-and-repertoire (A&R) responsibilities were handled by Abbey OneRace.
With 7 ELEMENTS, Kay Da Ace continues to build his musical identity, bringing together energetic sounds, personal storytelling and themes that resonate with everyday experiences.
